Professor Emerita at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Nilda Guimarães Alves has dedicated her career to the study of educational processes, with a particular focus on everyday dynamics, curricula, and educational networks. Her work is distinguished by an innovative and interdisciplinary approach, at the intersection of education, culture, and visual studies, exploring in particular the relationships between cinema, social practices, and learning.

Holding a PhD in Education from Paris V University, she has developed an original line of thought shaped by the dialogue between different research traditions, thereby enriching theoretical and methodological perspectives in her field. Her academic career, marked by responsibilities within leading institutions such as UERJ and the Fluminense Federal University (UFF), reflects her national and international influence.

Over the years, she has led numerous research projects and supported several generations of scholars, actively contributing to the structuring and development of education sciences. Ignacio Villaverde

On the occasion of its 60th anniversary, the university of Rouen Normandy has chosen to honor Ignacio Villaverde by awarding him the title of Doctor Honoris Causa, in recognition of his outstanding academic career and his commitment to constitutional law.

Professor of Constitutional Law and Rector of the University of Oviedo, Ignacio Villaverde is a leading figure in the Spanish legal and academic landscape. A specialist in fundamental rights, his work focuses in particular on freedom of expression and information, data protection, public transparency, constitutional justice, and constitutional theory.

Educated at the University of Oviedo, where he obtained his PhD in Law with highest distinction, he has spent most of his academic career within this institution, holding several key leadership positions before being appointed Rector. His trajectory reflects a strong and continuous commitment to higher education and academic development.

Alongside his academic responsibilities, Ignacio Villaverde has held prominent institutional roles. He notably served as a legal advisor (letrado) at the Spanish Constitutional Court, as well as Director of Legal Services of the City Council of Gijón between 2009 and 2011. This experience provides him with a distinctive perspective, bridging theoretical reflection and legal practice.
