The 51st IFES Conference will be held in Rouen, Normandy, France:

Rouen city, founded during the Roman era, has a very long history and many old monuments like its famous cathedral are still preserved in its historical center. It is located at only 80 km form the sea side and there is a very easy connection by train or by car to Paris (150 km).

The conference will be organized the week just before the great sailing ship meeting of Rouen: L’Armada 2008 (July 5–14, 2008 / www.armada.org). This is one of the largest sailing ship event of the world and several millions of visitors are awaited.
