Research topics: - Precipitation, ordering, interfacial segregation, radiation effects, effects of intense deformation in metallic alloys (steels, nickel-based alloys, titanium-based, copper-based, aluminium-based, amorphous metal...)
- Magnetic materials: relationship local structure - microstructure - magnetic properties (iron-rare earth alloys, permanent magnets, amorphous metals, films and multilayers, nanophased alloys)
- Microelectronic, physic of components, characterization and simulation (reactive diffusion to electrical contacts, redistribution of dopants after ion implantation)
- Numerical simulations of magnetic structures (phase transitions, hysteresis cycles ...) and the kinetic of phase transformations in alloys (precipitation, ordering, influence of magnetism)
- Development of laser atom probe tomography, laser-matter interaction in femto-second regime, physic of particle detectors, mass spectrometry, field effect
- High temperature oxidation of metals and alloys, atmospheric or dry corrosion, surface analysis, nitriding steels, oxide films and coatings
