Activités de recherche

Thèmes de recherche

Research topics:

  • Precipitation, ordering, interfacial segregation, radiation effects, effects of intense deformation in metallic alloys (steels, nickel-based alloys, titanium-based, copper-based, aluminium-based, amorphous metal...)
  • Magnetic materials: relationship local structure - microstructure - magnetic properties (iron-rare earth alloys, permanent magnets, amorphous metals, films and multilayers, nanophased alloys)
  • Microelectronic, physic of components, characterization and simulation (reactive diffusion to electrical contacts, redistribution of dopants after ion implantation)
  • Numerical simulations of magnetic structures (phase transitions, hysteresis cycles ...) and the kinetic of phase transformations in alloys (precipitation, ordering, influence of magnetism)
  • Development of laser atom probe tomography, laser-matter interaction in femto-second regime, physic of particle detectors, mass spectrometry, field effect
  • High temperature oxidation of metals and alloys, atmospheric or dry corrosion, surface analysis, nitriding steels, oxide films and coatings
  • Analysis of nonlinear behaviour of materials and structures under complex loads (cyclical and multiaxial loads, thermo-mechanical-metallurgy interactions)
