The Language Centre has a range of courses for foreign learners: French courses in preparation for the six levels of exams for the DELF and DALF, which also lead to a University Diploma French workshops centred on oral and written practice

French Courses for Foreign Students

The Language Centre offers six University Diplomas which correspond to the DELF and DALF levels defined by the Common European Framework of Reference. Le DELF is aimed at beginners and more advanced learners. Le DALF is intended for those seeking to perfect their French skills.

To learn French
4 levels are offered: - University Diploma A1 - Introduction to the French Language
The A1 classes take place in the 1st semester only: Course from mid September 2010 to mid January 2011. The A2 classes are taken over one semester for the students following the A1 classes in the 1st semester. These classes will start in mid January 2011. For all other students, the classes will take place from the end of September 2010 to the end of May 2011.

|
All foreigners, students or professionals who seek an official certification of their knowledge of the French language may sit the tests for the DELF and DALF and obtain a diploma issued by the Ministry of National Education and a University Diploma of French Language issued by the University of Rouen. The Language Centre organises its exams every year for May. Registration for the exams Exams

What to do next
Return to the Language Centre the completed registration form, the page 6 of the exam charter completed and signed, a cheque of 50€ for each exam level, payable to l'Agent comptable de l'Université de Rouen'

French Workshop

A French workshop on University Objectives (Methodology) has been set up in the Language Centre of the International Relations Department for the International Students in the Faculties. Cost : 75€ for a workshop of 20 hours
